My name is John Reimer, owner and artist behind JR Taxidermy, located in Grunthal, Manitoba. I've been a taxidermist since 1986, a craft that grew out of my lifelong passion for hunting and fishing.

I began with local game—whitetail deer, black bear, elk—but over the years, my work has expanded far beyond Manitoba. I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from around the world, giving me the opportunity to mount a wide range of wildlife including Russian grizzly, kudu, lion, zebra, mountain goat, gazelle, giraffe, and many others.

With over 35 years of experience, I’ve built a reputation for delivering high-quality, life-like mounts that preserve the memory and spirit of every hunt. Whether it's a prized big game trophy, an exotic mount, or a beautifully detailed bird or fish, my goal is always the same: to create work that helps you relive your adventure for years to come.
